The National Army Museum is currently running an online exhibition called HELMAND which takes the viewer through a series of screens, from Posting to Hell Land to Lessons Learned, giving the whys and wherefores behind the British presence in Afghanistan, the nature of military operations in Helmand province and what life is like for the troops (the 16 Air Assault Brigade) on the frontline.
