Past and present members of 1 Battalion the Royal Anglian Regiment are organising a series of events to take place on the afternoon of Saturday August 9th somewhere in Longstanton, Cambridge. Events include football matches, band, BBQ & Bar, raffles, kids' disco, auction, car boot sale (possibly), music... In other words: a fun-packed afternoon.
Proceeds from the day will go to the Help for Heroes charity which is raising funds to build state-of-the-art facilities for the treatment and rehabilitation of Britain's injured troops.
So if you're in Cambridge on the day and see someone shaking a collecting tin, please give generously.
