Royal Anglian Regiment: Peterborough Parade

Next stop, Peterborough. Following on from the success of their homecoming parades in Norwich, Bury St Edmonds and most recently in Great Yarmouth, 1st Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment, The Vikings will soon be marching through the streets of Peterborough. The parade will be followed by a Remembrance Service in Peterborough Cathedral in honour of the nine members of the Battalion who lost their lives serving their country in Afghanistan.
Lance Corporal Warren Murphy said: "It is a great idea. When crowds of people have turned out in other parades, it has given us a sense that what we were doing in Afghanistan was respected." Too right it was, Warren!
A date for the parade has yet to be set.
