2nd Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment (The Poachers) will be parading through Watford on March 11th to celebrate the success of their recent deployment in Iraq.
The Poachers have recently return from their second tour of duty during which time they played a key role in the Military Transition Teams (MiTTs) which have been training local Iraqi forces and providing them with the skills necessary to maintain
their own security once British troops finally withdraw from the country.
The Battalion, currently at its base in Celle, Germany will be visiting the UK for a number of Homecoming Parades during March - Stamford (9th Mar), Luton (10th Mar), Watford (11th Mar) and Lincoln (12th Mar).
There's sure to be a big turn out in these towns to congratulate the guys on a job well done and to welcome all of them back home this time.
