4 Mechanised Brigade honours Parliament

Soldiers from 4 Mechanised Brigade paraded into Westminster Palace for their homecoming ceremony after their tour of duty in Iraq.
This was a rare honour which the troops bestowed on MPs, one that the MPs will remember for the rest of their lives.

The presence of the 120 troops at the centre of government shows that, despite being let down repeatedly in the past, the British Army is still prepared to honour our institutions and to continue to safeguard our democracy and our freedom.

Our thanks to members of 4 Mechanised Brigade!
It looked like a great parade.

[I'm surprised the politicians risked this .......... but they did take their guns away from them. The title of the MoD's webpage is a bit risky too.]
