The people of Brentwood turned out in their hundreds to show their support for the guys of 'C' (Essex) Company, 1st Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment when they held their Freedom Parade in the town on 1st March.
Jean McGinley, deputy leader of the Council, said: "It is our local battalion and they deserve all the thanks and praise that they get. It is the first time this has happened in Brentwood."
I couldn't make the parade and so was very pleased when Paul Rowe sent a link to his photo album of the event. Thanks Paul.
