151 Transport Regiment, The Royal Logistics Corps - Honour Parade

53 members of the 151 (London) Transport Regiment, The Royal Logistics Corps, today marched from HMS Belfast to City Hall where they received special medals for their service during their recent deployment in Afghanistan. The Regiment is one of the few TA units to have been employed independently under its own command and formed the Force Protection and Transport Company to the International Stabilisation and Assistance Force (ISAF) Headquarters based in the capital Kabul.
Maj Gen Shouesmith said: "The company provided valuable force protection to many high-profile international visitors including the prime ministers of Australia, France and Germany and the Nato secretary general."

Well done, lads and welcome home!
