Operation Stable Door

The Ministry of Defence has just begun Operation Stable Door which involves instructing all staff that they cannot take unencrypted laptops containing personal data out of their offices. It is aimed at protecting the data of that part of the population that hasn't already been put at risk ........... that's about 10 of us then. (Ooops... make that 9, my court details have just been seen in the back of a van disappearing up the M1).
It is incredible that such a blindingly obvious precaution hadn't been taken years ago.
