On Sunday January 27th soldiers from 1st Battalion, The Royal Anglian Regiment
will be holding a homecoming parade in Yarmouth. The Freedom Parade will be followed by a thanksgiving service at St Nicholas Church. Canon Michael Woods who will be leading the service said: “It is a chance for the town's people to say thank you. It is also a chance to prove people wrong who say our soldiers are not supported. It is a chance for the youth of the town to look upon some good role models with qualities of duty and commitment that you do not often see these days”.
