3 Logistic Support Regiment parade in Abingdon

In sharp contrast to the public's turn out at the homecoming parade in October, hundreds of people lined the streets of Abingdon yesterday to honour the officers and soldiers from the 3 Logistic Support Regiment of the Royal Logistic Corps.
It seems that the Liberal Democrats who control the local council have been shamed into reversing their previous decision to ignore the returning troops. This time the parade was publicised and the people of Abingdon turned out to show their support and appreciation for work the guys had done during their recent six month tour in Iraq.
Well done, RLC!
