Royal Anglians reach fund target

Having already raised more than £134,000, the target for the 1st Battalion the Royal Anglian Regiment's Afghanistan Memorial Fund has now been set at £150,000.
The money raised will go towards paying for a memorial for the fallen heroes as well as providing financial support for their families and the seriously injured troops.
Major Landragin of the Vikings said: "We can't believe how supportive everyone has been. We only launched the fund when our boys came home from the tour last month and the money has really flooded in. We would like to thank everyone for their support. You can really feel people back home have got behind our boys and are grateful for the sacrifices they have made".
