I've just got back home from doing my first door-to-door collection 
on behalf of the Poppy Appeal. What was remarkable was that every house I visited (and I mean every house) made a donation to the Appeal - old and young, they all put something in the tin. Its good to know that the British people continue to hold the men and women of our armed forces in high regard even if the Labour Government doesn't!
