British soldier refused service at BP garage

A soldier who fought in Afghanistan was turned away from a BP petrol station because he was wearing uniform. An asian worker at the garage in Surrey told the shocked soldier he had to change out of his combat fatigues before he could be served.
UK soldiers are risking their lives to protect the business interests of oil companies like BP and this is the thanks they get in return. Perhaps BP will make amends by donating a little of their £billions profit to the Save our Soldiers Christmas Parcel Appeal (somehow I doubt it though).
