in Moscow's Red Square Russia's Armed Forces celebrated the 64th Victory Day commemorating the Soviet Union's victory over Germany in 1945.The victory came at a terrible price. 11,000,000 Soviet soldiers were killed fighting the Germans in World War 2; some 20,000,000 Soviet civilians were also killed.
We in the West must never forget the sacrifice made by the Russian people in the fight for our freedom.
